Get started with Shareable Data

A shareable data plan allows you to select a specific amount of monthly data that you can share among as many devices as you wish. To use a shareable data plan, you create a “pool” of shareable data, by selecting the amount of monthly data that you wish to use. The cost of this monthly data base plan includes one line with unlimited talk and text for free. You can then add additional lines to this shareable data plan, at a cost of $8/month (inclusive of all taxes and fees). All lines in a single shareable data pool will share the data allocation. For example, if you create a 1 GB shareable data pool and add one line to it, that will cost you $10/month for unlimited talk and text on that line plus 1 GB of data per month. You can then add a second line to this pool. Now, for a total cost of $18/month ($10 + $8), you will have two lines with unlimited talk and text and 1 GB of data usage shared between the two lines. You can create multiple shareable data pools on your account.

You’ll need at least one line to activate a Shareable Data plan, and can have as many lines sharing the same data pool as you want. You can also set up as many separate shareable data pools as you want.

Absolutely. While activating your service, you’ll be prompted to either transfer your existing number or create a new one. We make it simple for you to transfer your number to our network, and will guide you through the process during activation.

Yes! Almost all unlocked phones that have a SIM card slot will work with US Mobile. If your phone is locked to a carrier, we can help unlock it for you.

Yes! You can add any device, using either the Warp 5G or GSM 5G SIM, to a shareable data plan.

Yes! US Mobile offers 5G with all its plans for no extra cost! This means that for all 5G-compatible devices, you’ll automatically enjoy 5G coverage where available.

Yes, any line that you already have on your account can be easily moved from its current plan to a Shareable Data plan! Just keep in mind that when you move an existing line to a Shareable data plan, the line is moved to that plan immediately, and the cycle on its old plan ends. If there is a line access fee due (the first line added to a shareable data plan is included for free, but additional lines cost $8/month), the line will be charged a lower, prorated access fee according to the number of days remaining in the shareable data plan’s billing cycle. Both lines on using our Warp 5G (Black) SIMs and our GSM 5G SIMs can be added to a shareable data plan.

With our Shareable Data plans, you pick how much data you’d like to share, and the number of lines that will be sharing that data. The cost of the monthly data depends on the amount of data you purchase (this page lists the cost of different base plan sizes) and includes one line with unlimited talk and text for free.You can then add additional lines to this shareable data plan, at a cost of $8/month (inclusive of all taxes and fees). If you need more data in the middle of a billing cycle you can top up with more data at a cost of $2/GB. There are no overage fees.

Yes! All our phone plans come with WiFi Calling at no extra cost to you.

Yes! You can definitely have lines on our other plans (e.g. our Unlimited plans) on your account in addition to lines on Shareable Data plans. For example, you could have eight individual lines on your account and three lines on a Shareable Data plan

Yes! There’s no limit to the number of shareable data pools you can create on a single account.

Yes! Hotspot is included with Shareable Data plans at no extra cost.

Yes! You can top up the amount of shareable data in a pool in the middle of a billing cycle. To top up go to the pool page on your account and click the button to “Add Top Up” in the top section of the page. You’ll be able to add exactly however much data you want at a cost of $2 per GB and start using it immediately.

AutoPay is always enabled for shareable data plans. However, you can snooze or deactivate your plan or lines at any time, so you’re never stuck paying for service you don’t need.

All the pricing listed for our shareable data plans is inclusive of taxes & fees! So there is no additional taxes or fees that you have to pay. This is subject to change from time to time as the cost of compliance changes.
